About me
I'm Joanne, founder of Impact Intent. With over 15 years in marketing and communications across private and public sectors, alongside 5+ years in coaching and people development, I understand both the pressure to perform and the often unseen impact that sustained stress, overthinking, and overwhelm can have on how people feel, think, and show up in their lives and work.I now work with individuals and teams who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unclear about their next step - supporting them to regulate their nervous system, reconnect with their natural strengths, and create clarity so they can move forward with more ease and self-trust.My approach is grounded, person-centred, and practical. I combine breath-based regulation (including Breath-Body-Mind), somatic awareness, CliftonStrengths, and coaching to help people move out of overwhelm and into a more resourced, steady way of being.I’m a qualified personal performance coach, CliftonStrengths facilitator, and Breath-Body-Mind practitioner. That's absolutely fine. I offer breathwork sessions for individuals, groups, and teams who want to regulate their nervous system, build resilience to stress, and feel calmer and more balanced. Breathwork
Breath-Body-Mind is a gentle evidence-based breathing approach developed by Dr. Patricia Gerbarg and Dr. Richard Brown, to support nervous system regulation and emotional balance.It works directly with the autonomic nervous system to help shift the body out of survival states (fight, flight, freeze) and into a calmer, more regulated state.
Strengths
CliftonStrengths is a research-backed framework developed by Gallup that identifies your innate talents - how you think, make decisions, relate to others, and take action when you’re at your best.Instead of trying to “fix” yourself or become more like others, this approach helps you understand what is already working within you - and how to use it with more confidence and intention.

The coaching process I use is designed for people who feel overwhelmed by too many thoughts, ideas, or pressures - and need a calm, supportive space to slow things down and make sense of what’s really going on.We don’t just focus on insight - we focus on integration: turning awareness into grounded, realistic next steps that feel aligned with your capacity and life.
